Societal Conclusions

In the movie Ghost in the shell, the cyborg Major works for the government. However, she does not have human rights. The company Hanka undermined her privacy and freedom, even threaten her life. From the company’s view, they created Major’s body and used her mind as a mean to enhance their robot. They have the intellectual property of Major’s body and have rights to destroy it, which is the conflict between major and Hanka. The “Ghost” does live in the brain. As a cyborg, Major should have human rights.
